Elettrostatiche (ESD) e un trasferimento di energia tra due oggetti di diverso costo.

Molte persone hanno sperimentato ESD in forma di scossa statica. Oltre ad essere sorprendente, ESD puo causare gravi danni all'elettronica, e per questo motivo molti produttori installare garanzie di protezione contro le scariche elettrostatiche. Il modo piü semplice di prevenire ESD sia a casa, sulpavimento della fabbrica, o in un veicolo, ö quello diuti|izzare la messa aterta.
